- what: The aim of this study was to characterize two different sized ZnO NP during in_vitro digestion and to investigate their effects on two intestinal model systems.
- how: The results showed that there were higher FITC-dextran concentrations in the basolateral compartments in both cultures with increasing treatment time. At regular intervals the cells were tested for mycoplasma contamination.
