SUMMARY

    The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has affected individuals` social behaviors, including the frequency of hospital visits. There has been a significant decrease in the number of hospital treatments delivered across specialties (except those managing COVID-19 cases), especially in the emergency and outpatient departments. Although this trend has been observed for all in-hospital treatments, nonvital departments have been less affected than vital departments.
