- What: After the implementation of MoH guidance at fan zones, the authors aimed to determine SARS-CoV-2 positivity rates and to identify the variants locally present during the AFCON competition; however, this was limited by the challenges experienced during implementation. One of the initial objectives of this study was to report on the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 among supporters attending fan zones during AFCON.
