Improving assessment of lesions in longitudinal ct scans: a bi-institutional reader study on an ai-assisted registration and volumetric segmentation workflow

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The aim of this study was to assess the efficiency quality and inter-reader variability of an AI-assisted workflow for volumetric segmentation of lymph node and soft tissue metastases in CT scans. Although this study has a bi-institutional design and included a large sample of lesions, it is important to acknowledge its limitations. Another limitation of the study is that the baseline segmentation was not evaluated, which could have provided valuable information.
  • Who: Alessa Hering from the Department of Dermatology, Center of Dermato-Oncology, Tübingen University Hospital, Eberhard Karls University, T . . .
