- What: The aim of this study is to improve primary school students` ecological footprint awareness through ecological footprint-based activities. The research was conducted in accordance with the quantitative research method and a quasi-experimental design with pre-post test experimental-control group was used in the research. In the study the Ecological Footprint Awareness Scale was applied as pretest-posttest. The aims of environmental education are to increase the sensitivity of individuals to the environment, to ensure the formation of environmental awareness, to develop responsible behavior towards the environment and to create the 167 EDUCATION MIND . . .
