In silico screening of phytochemicals against chromatin modifier, setd7 for remodeling of the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in renal cancer

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study was conducted via virtual screening and MD simulation using compounds from the literature IMPPAT and SuperNatural database. This study proposed to identify the inhibitor for SETD7, an enzyme for H3K4me1. This study focused on the virtual screening of phytochemical compounds for their inhibitory potential against a specific domain of methyltransferase, SETD7. The present analysis showed for the first time that IMPHY002979 is a potent inhibitor against SETD7 with a potential binding pocket.
  • Who: Nikhil Gadewal from the Tata Memorial Centre, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Cancer Research Institute . . .
