SUMMARY
This safety evaluation includes a wide array of tests both in_vitro and in_vivo. The aim of this work is to provide a systematic overview of the scientific literature of OSCs with antibacterial, antifungal, and other properties present in the Allium genus in regard to their in_vitro toxicity evaluation. The question to be answered was: Do Allium compounds have toxic activity in_vitro?
