• What: The primary focus of the sampling regimen was the measurement of chloride (Cl -) levels. In ArcGIS, the eastern border of the study area was considered as the coastal strip, and using the Euclidean Distance tool, a raster file indicating the direct distance of each pixel to the coastline was generated (Fig 4d). The actual or effective weight of each parameter is determined using Eq ; essentially, this analysis evaluates the effect of each of the used parameters on the vulnerability index.
