OF RESULTS All of the 13 studies reviewed found that animated nutrition interventions increased the consumption of either fruit or vegetables or both among children. Generally, the animated nutrition interventions moderately increased fruit and vegetable consumption by an average of 33%, mostly driven by an effect on fruit intake. The general finding is that animated interventions increased fruit and vegetable consumption among participants in the short term, but that with longer term followup, the effect waned.
