• What: This work proposes a methodology to achieve this objective on an existing university campus located in La Reunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean. The authors focus on testing a methodology to aid decision making to increase self-sufficiency with additional rooftop PV capacity while minimizing the cost of self-consumed energy of an existing microgrid. This work proposes to address two main challenges to validate this assumption. The authors develop accurate modeling of the production of existing and future photovoltaic systems, leveraging existing data.
