    National parks could make a substantial provision to the needs of the communities who are inhabiting them and rely greatly on natural resources for their livelihoods (Atiqul Haq, 2016). The benefits of the existence of national parks for local communities are mainly from an economic perspective, especially infrastructure development (Mensah, 2017). National parks and protected areas normally involve local people in tourism management and development programs. Local communities can participate in ecotourism planning and development through the following stages: determine appropriate participation mechanisms, conduct initial dialogue and education efforts, establish and/or strengthen support . . .
