SUMMARY

    High rates of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and decreased well-being in Indigenous youth are commonly seen (Ames et_al, 2015; Fitzgerald et_al, 2017; BigFoot et_al, 2018; Freeman and amp; Ammerman, 2021; Richards et_al, 2021; Smith et_al, 2021). Studies reported individual quotes or images from youth to illustrate their thematic results (Clark et_al, 2013; Hatala et_al, 2017, 2019; McMahon et_al, 2013; Mohatt et_al, 2011; Wexler et_al, 2014). Drug and alcohol dependence/use was noted in several studies (Baldwin et_al, 2011; Hatala et_al, 2017; McMahon et_al, 2013; Mohatt et_al, 2011; Ulturgasheva et_al, 2014; Wexler et_al, 2014 . . .
