  • What: This study focuses on and investigates staff-rated access to empowering structures, leadership and management performance, staff well-being, and the quality of the care in hospital settings at individual and unit level. In the present study, quality of care is studied according to the individualized care scale (ICS) validated by Suhonen et_al , which could be seen as reflecting the component of process, showing whether staff perceive that care has been delivered in a proper way.
