- who: ~ and collaborators from the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of NASU, Kyiv, Ukraine have published the Article: INFORMATION RESOURCES and MATHEMATICAL MODELING, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
- what: The aim of the research was to make out whether it had been the possibility to predict the losses due to those floods in advance. This research showed such a possibility existed at least regarding the disastrous 1986 and 1998 floods. To answer these questions, in the study, the original method of prediction was used, which is an original author`s development.
