- what: The authors identified and characterized a new receptor with similarity with both human C3aR and C5aR receptors, and then named BsC3a/C5aR, from the colonial ascidian B. 10 of 13 The authors demonstrate, using ISH, that only morula cells, i.e., the cytotoxic immunocytes able to synthesize BsC3, actively transcribe bsc3a/c5ar.
