SUMMARY
The electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) is used for plasma start-up to MHD control in various tokamaks. The 82.6GHz/200KW and 42GHz/500kW ECRH systems are used in tokamak SST-1 to carry out experiments related ECRH assisted breakdown and start-up at fundamental and second harmonic. The operating toroidal magnetic_field of SST-1 is 0.75T, 1.5T and 3.0T, however . . .
