HIGHLIGHTS

SUMMARY

    When used in conjunction with other methods, a Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) may enhance voltage quality and decrease current harmonics in a power grid. In this research, development of a SAPF coupled to a diode rectifier driving a nonlinear load to mitigate current harmonics, in this work combination of fuzzy and PSO tuned pi controller can be used as controller for SAPF.
