SUMMARY
Some emerging evidence suggests that how movement behaviours are accumulated may be related to health markers, such as adiposity and fitness, in children (e_g,). Consequently, some children`s movement behaviour interventions (e_g,) have been developed to reduce their sedentary time and promote physical activity by breaking up prolonged periods of sitting, as well as other strategies that may impact on accumulation patterns. For such analyses, approaches that appropriately deal with co-dependency between behaviours (e_g, compositional data_analysis ) are required.
