  • What: This research explores the discursive power demonstrated by the neologism "run" recently popular on Chinese social platforms. Power-over is normally considered as domination, with prominent themes in social conflict, control, and coercion, which have been the primary focus of Western social and political scientists (Michael Karlberg, 2005). The description is the process of text analysis, focusing on the text itself, such as style, grammar, syntax, vocabulary, rhetoric, tone, etc. Most examples in this research have multiple formats including words in paragraphs, relevant pictures like that of the person referred, the author/himself, or scenarios, etc . . .
