Investigating the potential of oncolytic viruses for cancer treatment via msc delivery

SUMMARY

To inducing direct lysis of cancer cells, OVs are known to activate or reactivate cytotoxic immune_responses in patients, leading to therapeutic responses. Mesenchymal stem_cells (MSCs) have demonstrated potential in the treatment of various diseases, including cancer, owing to their antitumor substances that inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells. In the 1970s, a new type of stem_cells with the potential to generate multiple lineages was discovered in the marrow stroma. This led to the discovery of a stem_cell subset that belongs to the mesodermal germ layer lineage and is involved in the development of connective tissue, skeletal muscle . . .
