Investigating the relationship between online information seeking and translation performance among translation students: the mediating role of translation self-efficacy

SUMMARY

    On the one hand, online information resources are viewed as powerful tools that help translators gain helpful information effectively (e_g, Man et_al, 2019; Sycz-OpoĊ„, 2021), which might positively impact translation performance. Prior research has proved the critical role of self-efficacy in influencing users` performance (e_g, Kuhlthau, 1991; Wilson, 2000; Flavian-Blanco et_al, 2011; Lopatovska, 2014; Jamali and Shahbaztabar, 2017).
