SUMMARY
Young people who experience gender dysphoria are variously referred to as "gender variant" (Riley et_al, 2011; Wong et_al, 2019), "transgender" (Durwood et_al, 2017; Olson et_al, 2016), "cross-gender identified" (Kuvalanka et_al, 2017), and "gender dysphoric" (Wallien and amp; CohenKettenis, 2008)-although these respective terms can imply important sample differences in some instances.
