- what: The studies provide the first direct evidence for a causal role of Jak2VF erythroid lineage expression in exacerbated atherosclerosis. The study has several translational and therapeutic implications.
- how: The authors carried out further experiments to determine the mechanism by which Liprox-1 reduced endothelial permeability. Flow cytometry was performed using the LSR Canto or LSRII (Becton Dickinson) and data were analyzed using FlowJo software (Becton Dickinson).
