According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition) (DSM-V), combined with the clinical manifestations of delirium, scholars have divided delirium into four different clinical subtypes: hyperactive delirium, hypoactive delirium, mixed delirium, and no motor delirium.
