    Solid waste management (SWM) is a complex activity that involves the collection, transportation, processing and disposal of solid wastes in a way that is best addressed for human welfare. Poor awareness and delay of collection fees payment to the micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and irregular solid waste collection and exclusion of poor residences in the solid waste collection systems are other factors that hindered the process of proper SWM.
