Knowledge, perception, and attitudes of nursing staff about assessment and management of neonatal pain

  • What: This study aimed to assess the knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes of nursing staff in neonatal care units in four teaching hospitals in Baghdad regarding neonatal pain assessment and management. The study reveals that most enrolled nurses demonstrated an acceptable score in their perception (71%) and practices (66.9%) toward neonatal pain.
