- what: In this paper the analysis is focused on the stiff steel-concrete composites, where yielding in the joint is not assumed to occur, and where there are no relative horizontal displacements of the contact surface between the steel and concrete, so that failure occurs by reaching the critical bending load, instead by shearing at the contact surface between composite elements.
