Lead level analysis in roots and leaves of mangrove plants ceriops tagal and rhizophora apiculata in clungup mangrove conservation

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: The aims of this study were: To determine the level of lead metal (Pb) pollution in sediments in the area. The authors used two dominant plant species, Ceriops tagal and Rhizophora apiculata, to determine their phytoremediation capabilities in the Clungup Mangrove Conservation Area, where no similar research has been conducted to improve the management and awareness of lead pollution. The analysis used in this study was qualitative, and descriptive analysis was used to analyze data from Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) and phytore-mediation calculation data (TF, BCF, FTD).
