HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The aim of this work is to take the solar atmosphere into account without significantly increasing the computational cost. The authors show that learned infinite elements lead to numerical accuracy similar to the accuracy that is obtained for traditional radiation boundary condition in simple atmospheric model. The approach presented in this paper reduces the computational burden by truncating the computational domain as early as possible. Before the authors provide further details of how Eq is solved, the authors discuss the problem of matching the interior solution ψi and exterior solution ψe in a meaningful way.
