    In the infectious disease context, an intervention`s effectiveness will be impacted by variability in baseline exposures (conditions), differences in background rates of infection or disease burden across study sites, heterogeneous interventions, or differences coverage and adherence of the intervention. To estimate the value of a parameter from the data, it must be identifiable from steady-state prevalence, that is, the parameter must have a unique value associated with a given steady_state. When these resulting equations are at steady_state, for each pathway i the model parameters βi, αi, ξi, and γi only appear together . . .
