Even in instances of mild stroke, where motor function or the ability to perform basic activities of daily living (ADL) are marginally compromised, around one-third of people report not having regained previous levels of participation in daily activities (e_g, driving, employment, relationships, and leisure) at 6-months post-stroke. One in three stroke survivors will experience post-stroke . . .
