To reduce the negative externalities of EoL power batteries to the environment and relieve the pressure caused by insufficient raw materials, there has been widespread attention given to the issue of reuse and recycling of EoL power batteries. Sept 2006 Battery Directive 2006/66/EC Battery manufacturers establish EoL battery recycling systems, increase the recycling of EoL battery products, and improve the treatment and recycling rate of EoL batteries. Even though the total energy consumption of lithium-ion battery recycling should be less than that of battery production at the start of the supply . . .
