Lofar deep fields: probing the sub-mjy regime of polarized extragalactic sources in elais-n1

HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The aim of this study is to probe the sub-mJy polarized source population with LOFAR. The data for ELAIS-N1 were calibrated for the Sabater et_al study and reprocessed for the work . This is not an issue in the work that focuses on measurements of Faraday rotation of the polarization angles across the frequency band. In Fig 3 the authors show the polarization characteristics of the polarization angle calibrator, and the same quantities for the corresponding pixels in stacked data from Cycle 2 and from Cycle 4 for the reference source.
