• What: The authors aim to compare outcomes after laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication (LNF) in patients based on differing GERD diagnostic criteria. This study seeks to improve understanding of the long-term patient quality of life outcomes after fundoplication in the setting of borderline AET. The study demonstrated that patients with borderline GERD and GERD report significant GERD-HRQL improvements at 7 years following laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication.
