  • What: The study showed overall low numbers of HA-CRE in the network of community hospitals. Unlike previous studies, the study provides data on HA-CRE in 2022 and 2023; to date, the authors still cannot conclude whether the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on HA-CRE will persist or wane. The study showed the limit of AU use as an indirect measure of the HA-CRE incidence.
