HIGHLIGHTS

• What: The aim of this study was to test this hypothesis and to evaluate alveolar microstructure by comparing results from 129Xe MRI in IPAH with low DLCO with those from IPAH with preserved DLCO, as well as with those from PH patients with CPFE and with those from patients with emphysema without echocardiographic signs of PH. This study showed a correlation of capillary transit time with cardiac index.
