Macrozoobenthos of the pechora bay in 2020-2021 indicates a likely change of common bivalve molluscs in the arctic estuary

SUMMARY

    Of Atlantic walruses. The observed in this study distribution of macrozoobenthos corresponds to an ecocline of species from marine benthic community in the seaward part of the bay to depleted set of brackish-water species in the inner part. In total, 22 species occurred in both studies, 10 species were unique to 2020-2021 dataset, and 77 species were only found in 1995 but not 2020-2021, which is likely due to larger number of stations sampled in 1995.
