Hesitancy is a complex phenomenon, and factors commonly related to vaccine hesitancy among the general population, such as confidence in vaccine safety and effectiveness, risk perception (complacency), and facilities for or barriers to accessing vaccination (convenience) can play a key role in vaccine acceptance in HCWs and in the general population.
