Measuring temporal bias in sequential numerosity comparison

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: To overcome this issue the authors extend a recently proposed framework that makes it possible to separate the contribution of numerical and non-numerical information in numerosity comparison by introducing a novel stimulus space designed for sequential tasks. The authors provide the complete code for creating sequential stimuli and analyzing participants` responses. In the online repository, the authors provide a working example of code that can be used to create a stimulus set taking into consideration the features described above. On one hand, the authors aimed to empirically evaluate the methodology and test its versatility.
