SUMMARY

    Of population health as a foundation structure within an undergraduate medical curriculum must overcome the challenge of abandoning the traditional approach of independent courses, often disconnected from each other. The understanding and appreciation of "story" links the student`s clinical practice to population health and to the value now being placed on integrating arts and humanities content in health professional education.
