Mesenchymal stromal cells enhance the engraftment of hematopoietic stem cells in an autologous mouse transplantation model

HIGHLIGHTS

  • who: María Fernández-García from the (UNIVERSITY) have published the research work: Mesenchymal stromal cells enhance the engraftment of hematopoietic stem cells in an autologous mouse transplantation model, in the Journal: (JOURNAL)
  • what: In all the experiments, Ad-MSCs were used at 5-8 passages. In the current studies, MSCs obtained from adipose_tissue (Ad-MSCs) were used throughout. In subsequent experiments based on the serial BM transplantations, the authors demonstrate that Ad-MSCs improve the engraftment not only of the short-term repopulating cells but also of the true HSCs.
