HIGHLIGHTS
- What: The authors investigated the differences in mortality rates between infected and non-infected hospitalized burn patients. To evaluate the study characteristics, data of study type, study location, participants` demographics including total number of study participants, male and female participant numbers with percentage, mean age, study settings, reason for burn, and the most frequent reason for infection were extracted from each study.
