    All 5 antibodies revealed the presence of cytoplasmic misSOD1 accumulation within spinal motor neurons of the grey matter in the FALS patient harbouring the A4V SOD1 mutation. In agreement with previous observations26,28, no immunoreactive signal was detected in the control spinal cord sections, confirming the high specificity of all of the tested misSOD1 antibodies.
