SUMMARY
Despite being one of the most abundant groups of microhymenoptera recovered by various collecting efforts, be it Malaise trap or sweep netting (Martinez de Murguia et_al 2001), Ceraphronoidea is still severely understudied. Only a fraction of their species diversity has been described and any large-scale biodiversity assessment that involved ceraphronoid Vasilita C et al wasps (Ceraphronidae and Megaspilidae) were not very successful (GBOL I and amp; II, NorBOL, SweBOL).
