- What: In line with theorists of deliberative democracy (e_g, Bächtiger and Parkinson 2019), this study shows that the political usage of the internet or the engagement with political topics online goes far beyond the categories of news media consumption and social media discussion but should be measured more holistically, by mapping the diverse ecosystem of online deliberation.
