Morphological classification of anaemia and neutrophil patterns in pregnant women with asymptomatic malaria parasite infection

HIGHLIGHTS

  • What: This study was conducted to assess the classification of and patterns in parasite-infected pregnant women in Calabar Nigeria. This study showed that a higher number of the pregnant women enrolled make use of ITN, as the time of the year during which the data was gathered. This study has shown that asymptomatic malaria is still a cause for concern in SJMLS Volume 9, Number 3 September, 2024 pregnancy as the prevalence of anaemia was found to be 48.0%.
