SUMMARY

    Musculoskeletal complaints and pain are very common in musicians (Zaza, 1998; Silva et_al, 2015; Kok et_al, 2016; Viljamaa et_al, 2017). Multiple studies indicate that string players have a higher risk of musculoskeletal problems, compared to other instrument groups (Fishbein et_al, 1988; Davies and Mangion, 2002; Paarup et_al, 2011; Rensing et_al, 2018).
