- What: In this comprehensive review the authors focused the roles of essential oils and active in diseases and as discovered over the past three decades. In this review, the authors aimed to highlight the benefits of various EOs and several plant oils (POs) in terms of skin reactivity and the treatment of skin cancers, especially melanoma, with a PubMed-based selection of studies published in the last three decades which address the effects of EOs/POs on skin diseases and skin cancers.
