SUMMARY

    Resistance training (RT) is a well-established interventional strategy for increasing human strength and muscle mass. The aim of this paper was to systematically review and metaanalyze the effects of DS training vs. traditional training (TRAD) on measures of muscle strength and hypertrophy.
