• What: The primary focus is on the bond that surrogate mothers can form with the child and the complexities that arise if they are unwilling to give up the child including the ethical and legal dilemmas surrounding forced separation. This study seeks to fill a gap in the existing literature by focusing on the surrogate`s perspective, which has often been overlooked in favour of discussions on the legal, ethical, and medical aspects of surrogacy.
